Yep, say goodbye to the unnecessary action of trading items that offer little-to-no value. These include random items that are considered junk by most people.

Drop items in Roblox Mobile
If you’re used to phones for playing games, then the process of dropping an item in Roblox Mobile can be quite annoying, but if you want to do it right, here’s what you need to do:
Step 1
Launch Roblox and join a game session, regardless of game mode
Step 2
Go to your game inventory
Step 3
Equip your item and open up the smartphone keyboard
Step 4
Press the backspace key on your virtual keyboard at least 7 times without any pauses. If done correctly, the item should be dropped, and anyone can pick it up.

Drop items in Roblox Xbox One
Just like with Roblox Mobile, the process is basically the same but with a different button. Fortunately for Roblox Xbox One users, the button presses are more straightforward than the mobile keyboard. Here’s how to do it:

Go to your game inventory
Step 3
Equip the item you want to drop
Step 4
Press the d-pad down arrow repeatedly without any pauses. If done correctly, the item should drop afterward.
How to drop items in Roblox PC
When it comes to PC, you can either use your actual keyboard or the virtual keyboard in-game to execute the item drop. Here’s what you need to do:

Launch Roblox and join a session
Step 2
Go to your item inventory and manage your items
Step 3
Click on the item you want to drop and equip it
Step 4
On your virtual keyboard, press on the backspace twice, without pauses. If done correctly, the item should drop to the ground.
Or…
Equip the item you want to drop and press either backspace or delete repeatedly, without pauses. If done correctly, you should see the item you have dropped near your character.
Item Trading vs Item Drop
For some users, the concept of dropping items is quite new as there’s really no formal tutorial when it comes to the world of Roblox. While the game creation platform is really great, the game developer hasn’t really implemented a great control scheme to handle the most basic game interactions.
When dealing with in-game items, there are proper times to drop items and to trade them. When exchanging items with one player, we highly recommend doing it via trade to ensure a smoother transaction.
As you may know, items you drop can be picked up by anyone on the server, so if you’re dealing with something precious, maybe try trading instead? Consider dropping useless items as they serve no purpose for you.

How to Trade Items in Roblox
Unlike item dropping, trading items in Roblox would require you to do it via the browser. The process is really simple but here’s the correct process for doing so:
Step 1
Head to the player’s profile page and click the three dots on the upper right corner
Step 2
Look for ‘Trade Items’ and wait for the new page to open
Step 3
You should see the ‘Trade with Roblox Player’ window. Choose the items you want to trade from your inventory to proceed.
Step 4
Hit ‘Make Offer’ when done.
Disclaimer: The amount of Robux you trade cannot exceed 50% of the current offer. This is calculated after the transaction fee is taken off the overall charge.
