Learn a nifty trick to beat the Fishman Lord in Blox Fruits!
The First Sea is where you will learn the ropes of Blox Fruits. From the monkeys in the Jungle area to the pirate and marine NPCs all over the map.
While grinding in this sea can be easy, especially with a logia fruit, the bosses are a different story.
Since elemental immunity doesn’t work on bosses, you’re in for a real fight. But throughout my Blox Fruit playthrough, I have discovered tons of tricks and hacks to defeat these bosses easily—no sweat at all.
In this guide, I’ll show you how you can beat the Fishman Lord in Blox Fruits and grind him as much as you want without always fighting for your life.
Where Does Fishman Lord Spawn in Blox Fruits?
First, we need to find the Fishman Lord. His location is the Underwater City, and he spawns in front of his throne inside the Palace.
So, take the Fishman Lord Quest from the Underwater City Quest Giver. From this location, you can already see the Fishman Lord’s Palace.
Enter the castle and your scaly adversary should be there.
If you have Light Fruit, then you’re practically going to breeze through this quest. Not only does it offer insane damage and range with its abilities, but Light also allows you to travel at the speed of light using its F ability.
If you can’t find the Fishman Lord in his room, that means he has been killed already. In this case, you should server-hop.
Fishman Lord Blox Fruits: Spawn Time
The Fishman Lord spawns every 7.5 minutes. This is short compared to other bosses in the game, which makes him great for extra exp on the side.
When you reach Level 450, you can take the Fishman Lord Quest, kill him, and then go back to grinding small fries till the boss respawns.
Seven minutes is a short wait, but if you love beating bosses and want their drops, you can server hop grind as well.
Easiest Way to Beat Fishman Lord in Blox Fruits
(This is where I’ll put the Video)
In order to face the Fishman Lord, you need to be at least Level 425.
He has a Trident equipped and he can use old moves, like Trident Throw and Water Pulse. But most of the time he will just be chasing you, trying to hit you with melee attacks.
If you are around the same level and you don’t have a lot of points in defense, this boss can kill you in a single hit, so be careful. But he’s not that fast, so you can easily outrun him with your dashes.
What makes the Fishman Lord different from other bosses in the First Sea is his ability to transform.
After taking enough damage and his health reaches 20%, the Fishman Lord will transform into his Second Phase.
He changes his color to white and looks even more menacing. Upon transforming, he will regain all of his health and gain a huge buff on his attack damage and movement speed.
This form makes the Fishman Lord an extremely hard opponent if you don’t know what you’re doing.
But I have beaten him countless times without even breaking a sweat. Here’s how:
Step 1: Once you reach his palace, don’t go near the Fishman Lord. Simply attack him with any long-range attack to lure him to you.
Step 2: Then, quickly run to the first window outside until you can see him walking right into you. In this position, the Fishman Lord is stuck and can’t hit you with most of his attacks besides Trident Moves.
Step 3: Spam your attacks. I recommend you use Light Fruit or Ice Fruit as they have both strong long-range abilities and great basic attacks (M1).
After three basic attack animations (if you’re on the same level), the Fishman Lord will use a strong move, so take a step back quickly during this time and immediately get back to hitting him.
This way, even if he transforms, you can still beat him easily without dying.
If you have them, don’t forget to turn on your Instinct for some extra dodges and your Haki for more damage. This will make beating the Fishman Lord so much easier,
What Does the Fishman Lord Drop?
The Fishman Lord is usually killed multiple times by players because of his drops. The Fishman Lord can drop a Fishtail and a Trident.
The Trident is a great weapon obtainable in the First Sea. Its move Trident Throw pulls the target to the player and is great for starting combos.
But when it hits a building or a wall, it pulls the player quickly to that building and works like a grappling gun for some extra mobility.
You can talk to a blacksmith to upgrade the Trident for some extra damage.
Meanwhile, the Fishtail is an Uncommon material that can be used to craft some swords and guns. It’s also a required material for Godhuman.
The other NPCs at Underwater City can also drop this material.
