What’s new with the Blox Fruits Dragon rework? Find out now in today’s Fruit Feedback!
One of the strongest fruits in the game is finally getting a well-deserved rework.
With months of development, we’re sure that this new update will be fire. But with the excitement comes the unscratchable itch to know what this rework will bring.
In this article, we’ll go through everything we know so far about the Blox Fruits Dragon rework.
From leaks, official sneaks from the developers, and theories that will give us a nice overview of what to expect when the much-awaited update does come.
Blox Fruits Dragon Rework: What to Expect?
Thanks to rip_indra’s sneak peeks, we get a little taste of what the new Dragon Fruit’s abilities would look like.
As of date, we already have a sample of all abilities except the first two, which didn’t get any teasers.
But for now, let’s go over the available information and see what this rework will change and deduce the possibilities.
Z Heatwave Beam Rework
There isn’t much information about the first two abilities. But we do know that Heatwave Beam’s rework will be called Heatwave Cannon.
Based on the name and the fact that the devs didn’t say anything about it, we will assume that this ability will get a few minor tweaks in animation.
Perhaps a bigger hitbox or being more explosive and destructive.
X Draconic Claw Rework
Currently, Draconic Claw is a fire-powered dashed in human form, but it will be called Infenal Pincer in the update.
There are no official statements about this new ability, but if we take a look at rip_indra’s Blox Fruits Dragon rework sneak peek, we can see a figure in the middle of the flames with fire wings and a tail.
Since Draconic Flight uses Dragon Wings for flight, I believe that Infernal Pincer would utilize these flame wings and a fiery tail for a boost in speed or dash.
C Fire Shower Rework
Starting off with something pretty familiar, the C ability’s rework will be called Scorching Downfall and will retain most of its major details and elements.
Based on this tweet from rip_indra, the Fire Shower rework would be a better depiction of its name with a wider spray of fire blasts and your avatar making more of an anime-like movement, which is pretty cool.
Based on this image and the name, we can conclude that this reworked version would be something like Light Fruit’s Barrage of Light.
V Transformation Rework
Now here’s the part I’m most hyped about and I’m sure you are too – the transformation.
Currently, we have a green scaly dragon with some enhanced moves and that’s pretty much it. The latest sneaks from the devs show that this rework holds much more than we think.
The new V ability will be called Imperial Evolution, which suggests that the transformation might consist of some stages.
Also, if we take a look at this post from the devs, you will see that there are now two colors in the Fury Meter. That’s why we strongly believe that the most coveted hybrid transformation will be delivered by the Blox Fruits gods, and this leak confirms that theory.
So, instead of the typical Human to Dragon transformation, we will get a hybrid form.
Based on the Kitsune Fruit mechanics where you get faster the more tails you have, we think this form will also give the user buffs as you evolve.
More damage and defense seem to fit the Dragon fruit better.
Of course, it won’t be a Dragon Fruit if you can’t become an actual dragon. So there will be two transformations, the second being the giant dragon form we are used to with more powerful abilities.
This will also explain why the Blox Fruits Dragon rework is taking a lot longer than expected. Perhaps due to the high demand for a hybrid form, the developers decided to give the community what it wanted and added some major tweaks to the transformation.
This means we’ll be seeing more Kaido builds in the game.
F Draconic Flight Rework
Draconic Flight will now be Draconic Soar. This is Dragon Fruit’s travel or flight ability that lets you go from place to place.
The main change we can predict is that instead of the plain dragon wings we have now, Draconic Soar will also use the fiery wings and tail we saw earlier from rip_indra’s tweet.
Disclaimer: We are not part of the Blox Fruits development team. Our information is mainly theories and assumptions backed by evidence, facts, and Blox Fruits dragon rework leaks.
When is Blox Fruits Dragon Rework Coming Out?
The Blox Fruits Dragon rework release date is not yet officially confirmed. But rip_indra said it himself, “The update is near.”
If everything goes well at the same pace, we should be seeing Update 24 in June or July.
